Snug Harbor Ghost Tour Page!

This was our very first ghost tour at Snug Harbor on Halloween of 2006.   What better way to spend Halloween night then with active ghosts and spirits??!!

We had two tours: 8pm-9pm and 9pm-9:55   The tours met at the VMH building.

The cost was $5.   Originally, there was a limit of 25 people per tour- first come, first served!!; however that quickly went out the window when the second tour brought over 50 people!

We decided to split the group into two. Kristi and Lisa led one tour. Amy, Laurie and Lori led the other, working backwards starting with the Governor's Mansion.   We started out by telling stories about the Veteran's Memorial Hall and Music Hall buildings.   We toured Building K-the Matron's House and the Governor's Mansion, telling the tales of our spooky encounters as well as those of former and present residents.   We played our EVPs from the Matron's House for people to hear and showed a few interesting photos from the Governor's Mansion.   We also talked about the tales involved in the Main Hall and building E, Captain Randall's tomb, and the iron gates.   After the tour, some people stuck around to talk with our Investigators and shared their own stories.

Participants were encouraged to bring flashlights and cameras, and many have graciously shared their photos with us which we are now sharing with you!
